ميزان Mizan is Arabic for balance — the scales. In classical usage it carries the weight of justice, equilibrium, and measured judgment: the discipline of weighing a thing truly before acting.
Fortis is Latin for strong, steadfast, courageous. It is the resolve to hold a considered position when others reach for the exit.
Together they name a single idea: strength in balance. Conviction without recklessness. Patience without passivity. It is how we choose what to own, and how we behave once we own it.
